Valentine's Day 2011

Happy Valentine's Day from the Steyaert family. We hope you had a great day with the people you care about. Unfortunately for us, Daddy had to be on a trip to California but we made the best of it we could anyway. From doughnuts shaped as hearts, to cookie decorating and hanging out with friends, our day was filled with love. We had a blast creating fun treats on a play date- the kids each made their own cookie... then the mom's took over and had fun icing and decorating for the people we care about. We went home afterward and played with some friends until the evening and then talked to Daddy on the phone before bed. Peter spoiled me with some beautiful flowers before he left and got me some fun jewelry to go with thering he bought me in Cancun for our anniversary. I have a sweet husband that loves his family! Announcing Baby Boy Steyaert

So we found out a few days ago that we would once again be blessed with another baby... BOY!! The ultrasound confirmed my suspicions and showed us very clearly that we will be a family of boys! Stephen was a little disappointed to find that he was not having a sister, but he is now excited to have another brother to play baseball with. Stephen was very sweet during the ultrasound. He wanted to make sure that I was ok and it wasn't hurting me or the baby. He kept saying, "Don't worry, Mom. Its almost over and it won't hurt you." He was so concerned. Scottie didn't want much to do with it. He really didn't understand. Daddy is super happy to have a quiver full of boys, although I think I saw a spark of disappointment before the comments of, "at least we won't have to pay for weddings" and such crept in. I am totally looking forward to being a MOB member... Moms of Boys! Look out world, the Steyaert boys are coming through!!
